About HomeSimGolf

We started HomeSimGolf because building a home golf simulator involves way more guesswork than it should.

Search for “best golf simulator” and you’ll find the same ten products ranked in a different order on twenty different sites, most of them written by people who’ve never measured a garage or compared a launch monitor spec sheet against another. Meanwhile the actual questions people have go mostly unanswered: will this fit in my space, is this launch monitor accurate enough to be worth it, what am I actually giving up if I buy the cheaper option.

That’s what we’re trying to fix. Every guide on this site is built around real numbers: room dimensions, published accuracy specs, current pricing, and honest tradeoffs between budget tiers. When we haven’t tested something ourselves, we say so and tell you exactly where the numbers come from. When we have, you’ll know that too.

What you’ll find here:

  • Buying guides organized by space (garage, basement, small rooms) and budget, not just brand
  • Straight comparisons between launch monitors and simulator software, with the actual specs side by side
  • Setup guides for building a simulator into a real room, including the parts nobody mentions until you’re mid-project
  • Reviews that tell you who a product is right for, rather than just slapping a good or bad label on it

Who’s behind this

HomeSimGolf is run independently. We’re not owned by a golf equipment brand, and we don’t accept payment in exchange for a favorable review. We do use affiliate links on some pages, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
